- Child Health Centres:
Child Health Nurses provide services to parents and carers of children up to 4 years old. They assess baby and child development, provide support and information on parenting, health, immunisations, postnatal stress, and link with other professionals when necessary.
- Noah's Ark Toy Library: Toy/equipment lending service for children with special needs in the Perth metro area and to eligible rural families. Telephone 93281598
- Parenting Line: Contact for information/advice/resources/support on a range of topics for parents of 0-18 year olds on 6279 1200 or 1800 654 432.
- Playgroup WA Inc: Services and support for playgroups in the community. Call 9228 8088 for local playgroup contacts.
- Public Library Services: Visit your local library for book loans, story time sessions, baby rhyme time, holiday programs etc. If you are unsure of the location of your local library visit the National Library Gateway.
- WA Local Government Association: Contact your Local Council regarding playgrounds, libraries, recreation services (eg swimming pools) nearby. (If unsure of your local council call 9321 5055).
- Western Australian Association of Toy Libraries: Information about toy libraries throughout WA. Families and caregivers of young children can borrow toys, games, puzzles etc at minimal cost.
