Spirometry

Spirometry is the most commonly performed test of respiratory function. Spirometry assists with the diagnosis and management of many diseases affecting the lungs.

The aim of this course is to provide the essential skills and knowledge so that health professionals are competent in all aspects of performing high quality spirometry. For full course details click here

This course has been developed by Senior Scientists from Royal Perth Hospital, Princess Margaret Hospital for Children, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in conjunction with the Telethon Institute for Child Health and Research.

The WA Spirometry Course has been endorsed by the Australia and New Zealand Society of Respiratory Science and the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand.

Course dates

12 - 13 November 2009

Courses are available for groups (at least five people) at times and locations other than those listed on the registration form by mutual arrangement with the training co-ordinator.
